The Maui Brewers Festival will be coming to a head on May 30^th at the Maui Arts and Cultural Center. Set on an outdoor stage, there will be a total of 23 brewers serving 46 beers from around the globe. Mick Fleetwood's Island Rumors Band, featuring former Fleetwood Mac guitarist Rick Vito will help get you in the groove, and 16 caterers will be serving pupu-style cuisine.

The attendees will taste various brews in a keepsake commemorative mug while grazing freely among the pupu offerings. Participating brewing companies include Kona Brewing Company, Maui Brewing Company, Boston Beer, Bear Republic, Caldera, Gordon Biersch, Hawaii Nui, Heineken, Michelob, Miller Coors, Ninkasi, Redhook Ale, Rogue, Steinlager, Stone and Widmer Brothers. This will be a beer lover's dream come true.

General admission is $50.00 in advance and $75.00 the day of the event. VIP tickets are $150.00 in advance and $175.00 thereafter. According to the Realtors Association of Maui, there are currently 324 escrows pending on Maui at this time. This is excellent news considering that at the end of March there were only about 200 pending.

According to the Realtors Association of Maui, there are currently 683 South Maui condos for sale as compared to 729 at the end of January. There have been 33 sales of South Maui condos in the past 30 days as compared to 19 sales for the month of January.

According to the Realtors Association of Maui, there has been a decrease in the number of listings at most of the South Maui condominium projects since the end of January. For example:

The Palms at Wailea has gone from 17 listings to 9
Wailea Palms has gone from 8 listings to 4
Kihei Surfside has gone from 4 listings to only 1

I often hear this comment..."I'm going to wait because I think prices will continue to fall". My response...No one knows what might happen in the future. What we do know is that there are more condos than ever to choose from right now and interest rates remain at an all time low.
